MINSK, 8 April (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Vietnam Vladimir Borovikov took part in the seminar “Meeting with partners from America and Europe” on 7 April, the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Vietnam told BelTA.
The event was organized by the Vietnamese Industry and Trade Ministry. During the seminar the ambassador exchanged opinions with participants about the state and prospects of Belarus-Vietnam trade and economic cooperation, including progress in realizing topical bilateral projects.
Preparations for forthcoming top-level visits, which will contribute to the advancement of bilateral economic contacts, were also discussed.
In 2021 Belarus-Vietnam trade exceeded $200 million. Belarus exported potash fertilizers, animal husbandry products, instrument engineering products, medications, and cosmetics and imported rubber, nuts, fish fillets, integrated circuits, propylene polymers, canned foods.
