MINSK, 10 April (BelTA) - Belarus’ Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Pavel Utyupin met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Belarus Rakhmatulla Nazarov in Minsk on 10 April, BelTA learned from by the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties approved a plan of action for bilateral events at all levels.
Pavel Utyupin and Rakhmatulla Nazarov discussed a wide range of issues related to the further development of Belarus-Uzbekistan relations, primarily in trade, economy and investment.
Belarus and Uzbekistan established diplomatic relations on 21 January 1993. Belarus set up its embassy in Uzbekistan in February 1994. Uzbekistan’s embassy in Minsk opened later, in March 2018.
