MINSK, 23 February (BelTA) – Belarusian First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Lukashevich met with Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad bin Sultan Al Muraikhi of Qatar within the framework of the official visit of the Belarusian prime minister to Qatar on 23 February, the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.
The parties affirmed commitment to intensifying ties on a full range of the bilateral agenda, including investments, product supplies, and food security. The parties also agreed to study the prospects for joint work in third countries.
The parties also discussed the coordination of activities within international organizations and the continued contact between the ministries of foreign affairs of the two countries.
Following the negotiations, the parties signed memorandums of cooperation in youth policy and standardization.
