MINSK, 13 September (BelTA) – Belarus observes yet another spike in tensions at the Azerbaijani-Armenian border with alarm, BelTA learned from a statement published by the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs website reads: “We mourn the lives lost on both sides and wish speedy recovery to the injured. We call upon the leadership of friendly Azerbaijan and Armenia to show restraint and observe all the previous agreements. We proceed from the belief that any conflicts can and should be resolved purely by means of politics and diplomacy.”
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs added that in turn Belarus will continue working towards achieving peace and stability in South Caucasus in any available formats.
