high alert Sunday as the greater capital region prepares for heavy
snowfall.
The Seoul metropolitan government announced preparations for the anticipated snowfall of 10 to 20 centimeters, which is expected to begin early Monday morning and continue through Tuesday.
Starting early Monday, the city will elevate its alert to the second phase, mobilizing 9,685 workers and deploying 1,424 snow-clearing vehicles and pieces of equipment.
Authorities emphasized the importance of maintaining a safe distance while driving in snowy conditions and urged pedestrians to exercise caution.
