MINSK, 19 July (BelTA) – Organizations of all forms of ownership built about 23,900 apartments in the first half of 2021, with 2,040,600m2 of housing commissioned, BelTA learned from the National Statistics Committee.
As much as 866,400m2 of housing was commissioned for people on the housing register, or 42.5% of the total amount of housing commissioned. The figure included 632,500m2 of housing built with state support. As much as 451,900m2 of housing was commissioned for large families.
As much as 569,400m2 of housing was commissioned in rural areas or 27.9% of the total amount of housing commissioned in Belarus in H1 2021.
