MINSK, 15 May (BelTA) - By the end of 2024, the Belarusian tractor manufacturer MTZ will supply 725 Belarus tractors to Azerbaijan for about $16 million, BelTA learned from the MTZ press service.
"MTZ delivers tractors unassembled where they are assembled at Ganja Automobile Plant. The Azerbaijan manufacturer assembles up to 2,000 tractors per year, of 16 models," press service said.
Last year, MTZ delivered about 800 tractors to Azerbaijan for more than $17 million, in January-April 2024 - about 200 units for more than $3 million. Exports are growing both in physical and value terms, the press service noted.
Caspian Agro kicked off in Baku. MTZ is showcasing Belarus 82.3 and 2022.3 made in Minsk, and Belarus tractors 422, 622, 82.1, 892, 1025.2, 1221.2 and 1523 that are assembled at Ganja Automobile Plant.
