Grodnoinvest FEZ residents attract $119 million in foreign investment in 2025

GRODNO, 21 January (BelTA) – Resident companies of the Grodnoinvest Free Economic Zone (FEZ) attracted $119 million in foreign investment in 2025, the FEZ administration told BelTA.

In 2025, $119 million in foreign investment was raised to finance investment projects by the Grodnoinvest FEZ resident companies, which was 37% more than in 2024. Notably, more than 40% of this amount came from direct foreign investment.

The FEZ administration added that the bulk of foreign investment came from Russia, the UAE, the United Kingdom, EU countries, and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The main sectors receiving foreign investment were agricultural production, the chemical industry, woodworking and furniture manufacturing, production of building materials, and metalworking.

Residents of the Grodnoinvest FEZ with foreign capital are implementing investment projects in Grodno, as well as in Grodno District, Lida District, Mosty District, Svisloch District, and Smorgon District. Around 6,000 people are employed at these enterprises. In 2025, enterprises with foreign capital accounted for 60% of the total industrial output of the Grodnoinvest FEZ and exported 68% of goods.
