MINSK, 5 April (BelTA) – Belarus’ Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Karankevich discussed the future of technological cooperation with Tatarstan during an appearance on the Belarus 1 TV channel, BelTA reports.
“For Belarus, Tatarstan is a key region in the Russian Federation and a strategic, reliable partner. Our meetings focused on the implementation of previously reached agreements covering passenger vehicle supplies, tram modernization, and leveraging the expertise of Belarusian specialists and factories,” said Viktor Karankevich.
According to him, Belarus stands ready to share the technologies and advancements it has already rolled out domestically and in some regions of Russia. This includes new, cost-effective trams that offer the most affordable modernization options, all while retaining full guarantees and service support. “We discussed the possibility of applying these technologies and approaches in Tatarstan. And we hope to see results in the near future,” added Viktor Karankevich.
