MINSK, 17 April (BelTA) – Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ) more than doubled its production of high-horsepower tractors in 2026, the MTZ press service told BelTA.
“In Q1 2025 as many as 122 MTZ 3522 tractors were produced while the actual output for the first three months of this year amounted to 268 units of this model. That is 17 more than planned for this period. The enterprise will continue ramping up production rates to ensure timely delivery of vehicles to customers,” said Pavel Lisovsky, head of the mechanical assembly production division at OAO MTZ.
In early January Prime Minister of Belarus Aleksandr Turchin visited key production sites of Minsk Tractor Works. The head of government focused primarily on the production of high-horsepower machines and vehicles. The enterprise was tasked with producing at least 85 units of the MTZ 3522 per month starting in January.
