Belarus-Vietnam cooperation discussed on sidelines of economic forum

MINSK, 6 June (BelTA) – Consul General of Belarus in Ho Chi Minh City Ruslan Varankov took part in the 4th Vietnam Economic Forum, representatives of the Belarusian embassy in Vietnam told BelTA.

Ruslan Varankov met with top officials of the Ho Chi Minh City administration on the sidelines of the forum. The sides discussed the expansion of Belarusian-Vietnamese cooperation.

The Vietnam Economic Forum is the country's most important venue for discussing the state, challenges, and prospects of Vietnam's economic development. This year's forum is focused on discussing the creation of a steadier, more independent and more deeply integrated economy in new conditions.

Vietnam Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, top officials of the Central Economic Commission, the Central Committee of the Communist Party, the central bank, ministries of the economic bloc of Vietnam, representatives of international bodies, the diplomatic corps, representatives of the scientific community and the expert one took part in the forum.
