Belarus raises export duties on oil, petroleum products

MINSK, 1 July (BelTA) – On 1 July Belarus increased export duties on oil and petroleum products, which are exported outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The decision was laid down by the Council of Ministers' Resolution No.366 of 29 June 2021, BelTA has learned.

In line with the document the export duty on crude oil, furnace oil, oil bitumen, petrolatum, paraffin, and waste oils makes up now $61.5 per tonne ($58.8 previously). The export duty on straight-run gasoline was set at $33.8 per tonne ($32.3 previously). The export duty on commercial gasoline, diesel fuel, light and middle distillates, benzene, toluene, xylene, lubricants amounts to $18.4 per tonne ($17.6 previously).

The export duties on crude oil and some categories of derivative oil products were previously revised upwards on 1 June.
