MINSK, 16 May (BelTA) – The international competitions Grand Prix Minsk, a test tournament in the run-up to the 2nd European Games 2019, will kick off at the Minsk Arena velodrome on 16 May, BelTA learned from the Minsk European Games Organizing Committee.
The program of competitions will include sprint (sprint, team sprint, keirin, track time trial) and endurance (individual pursuit, team pursuit, scratch race, points race, Madison, onmium, elimination) events.
The tournament will feature 250 athletes from 16 countries. The tournament will end on 19 May. Entry is free.
The track cycling tournament at the 2nd European Games will be held on 27-30 June. A total of 316 athletes will compete in 20 medal events.
