The new Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) season kicked off on 5 September, but it was yesterday when the action finally arrived in Minsk. As usual, the capital club opened its home series with a spectacular show. The subsequent game saw HC Dinamo Minsk dominate HC Barys Astana, yet the outcome remained uncertain until the final seconds, BelTA has learned.

Then Dinamo Minsk is scheduled to play against Severstal Cherepovets on 26 September, and 1 October, Lokomotiv Yaroslavl on 29 September, and Traktor Chelyabinsk on 6 October.
