Practice sessions underway ahead of European Figure Skating Championships in Minsk

Minsk is hosting such a prestigious tournament for the first time. This year, the ISU European Figure Skating Championships features more than 100 athletes. Belarus will be represented by Anna Kublikova and Yuri Gulitsky in ice dance and Yakau Zenko in the men's singles.

Belarus' world number 11 Aryna Sabalenka lost to Amanda Anisimova, world number 87, of the United States 3:6, 2:6 in the Australian Open third round. Aliaksandra Sasnovich, world number 31, was defeated by Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova (World No.44) of Russia.
