MINSK, 5 May (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Venezuela Dmitry Derevinsky met with Venezuela’s Deputy Minister for Ecological Mining Development Jesús Ricardo Mieres Vitanza, the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Affairs Ministry told BelTA.
"The parties touched upon practical steps to enhance cooperation in the mining industry, including the possibility of arranging supplies of BelAZ mining dump trucks and related equipment manufactured in Belarus, taking into account the needs of the Venezuelan side," the ministry said.
A joint action plan has also been outlined for the near future.
