MINSK, 18 January (BelTA) – Minister of Labor and Social Protection Andrei Lobovich outlined the vision for the Belarusian family over the next five years in an interview with the Belarus 1 television channel, BelTA reports.
The minister noted that the role of fathers in raising children and family development has grown substantially in recent years. “The state has done much to enable men to take a greater part in raising children and supporting their families. This trend will continue,” Andrei Lobovich remarked.
Looking ahead, the minister described the Belarusian family as young, financially secure, and thriving. “We are doing everything possible to ensure that families can afford healthcare, entertainment, hobbies, and more. I am confident the policies being implemented in the country will help achieve this. Our family and demographic development strategy should play a key role,” emphasized Andrei Lobovich.
