MINSK, 15 March (BelTA) - The book "Superposition. Parallel Worlds" authored by Belarusian political expert Sergei Musiyenko and published by the BelTA news agency was presented at the 32nd Minsk International Book Fair on 15 March, BelTA has learned.
The publication is unusual and differs from many books presented at this exhibition, BelTA Director General Irina Akulovich said at the presentation. The book “Superposition. Parallel Worlds” was developed using the materials of BelTA’s photo exhibition Parallel Worlds.
“BelTA decided to analyze the first 30 years of the sovereign life of Belarus, to analyze how the government and the opposition acted,” said Irina Akulovich, explaining the main idea behind the Parallel Worlds exhibition. “In our opinion, these are really two parallel worlds: action vs counteraction, hard thorough work vs empty phrases. That is why we called it Parallel Worlds.

The book, which is a continuation of the exhibition, is also about the state and the opposition. It is the result of a deep analysis based on facts. Speaking about the title of the publication, the BelTA director general praised the superposition of Belarusian leader Aleksandr Lukashenko, which is the only reason why there is a Belarusian state today.
Sergei Musiyenko added that the book first of all thanks people who supported the president’s position of the President, rebuilt and developed the country.

The author of the publication expressed his gratitude to the BelTA team, emphasizing the quality of editorial work. “I appreciated the level of work with the text, editing, proofreading,” he said.

Thanks to the Education Ministry, the book has been presented in many educational institutions, and this work will be continued, Sergei Musiyenko said. He believes that if there is at least one student or school pupil in the audience who will ask their parents how they lived in the mid-1090s, the purpose of the publication will be achieved. After all, every family remembers the stories about those difficult times. Knowledge and understanding of how they lived at that time will help preserve the country.

The Parallel Worlds project features almost 20 posters which depict the footage from the news agency's archives and documents of the Belarusian State Archive of Cine, Photo and Audio Records. The project juxtaposes the two worlds going in parallel along different paths over the past 30 years of independence. One of them is the path of peace, creation and achievements. The second, “parallel world”, chose the path of hatred and degradation.
