MINSK, 6 May (BelTA) – The Economy Ministry notes high interest in the credit programs of the Regional Initiative. Deputy Economy Minister Aleksei Zubovich made the statement during a working trip to Bobruisk District, Mogilev Oblast, the Economy Ministry’s press service told BelTA.
The deputy economy minister took part in a meeting of the local district executive committee to review the results of the social and economic development and the execution of the region’s budget in January-March 2026.
According to Aleksei Zubovich, the district managed to achieve good results: it secured a solid increase in meat and milk in agriculture, increased the output of the industrial sector, exceeded housing construction targets, and added new projects to the investment portfolio.
“The Economy Ministry as the investment regulator notes with satisfaction the high interest in credit programs under the priorities of the 2030 Program, which operate under the umbrella product Regional Initiative,” he noted. “As of 1 May 2026, over 60 projects from Mogilev Oblast worth over Br125 million have been presented in this pool, with four of them to be implemented in Bobruisk District.”
Aleksei Zubovich ended his working visit by checking on the progress of implementation of investment projects at the district’s enterprises.
The Pishchevik-Agro branch of OAO Krasny Pishchevik-AgroService is busy reconstructing a dairy complex to increase the milking herd to 900 cows.
OAO Krasny Pishchevik constantly updates its product range and plans to install a new line to produce 3D marmalade.
Bobruisk Meat Processing Plant is also actively investing in technological upgrades by building a semi-finished products shop together with refrigerating chambers, an ammonia compressor shop, and a boiler house.
The deputy economy minister discussed current matters of implementing investment projects and further development plans with the heads of the companies. Aleksei Zubovich emphasized that the state systematically supports promising projects aimed at import substitution and deep processing of local raw materials.
