GRODNO, 13 January (BelTA) - Grandfather Frost used an aerial lift to reach young patients at Berestovitsa Central District Hospital and hand them gifts through the windows on the Old New Year’s eve, BelTA learned from the Grodnoenergo energy supply company.
Power engineers and farmers greeted young patients of the local hospital in Berestovitsa District during the nationwide Our Children campaign. Teams from the Starý Dvorets Agrofirm branch and the Berestovitsa District Electrical Networks organized a special visit for the children undergoing treatment.
As part of the campaign, employees of the Starý Dvorets Agrofirm also visited the Vasilishkovsky children's social residential house Vasilki. They donated essential kitchen equipment to the institution and gave sweet gift sets to the children.
Using an aerial lift, the unusual Grandfather Frost ascended to the patients' windows, clad in his traditional fur coat but also wearing a power engineer's protective helmet. He greeted each child and handed them holiday gifts. This unique and spectacular method of delivering congratulations sparked genuine delight among all the campaign participants and will surely remain a vivid memory for the children.
