MINSK, 19 October (BelTA) – A mother of four from the city of Bobruisk has won the Beauty of Belarus 2025 contest, BelTA has learned.
Mrs. Beauty of Belarus 2024 Olga Tikhonenko presented the crown to the winner. To win the title Mrs. Beauty of Belarus 2025, the participant had to beat 15 other contestants from all parts of the country. She went through two qualification rounds and seven days of the contest. All of them performed their competition routines, demonstrated their creative side, and underwent catwalk training.
Natalya Romanovskaya from Minsk is the first runner-up for the Mrs. Beauty of Belarus 2025 title while Anastasia Mazurenko from Gomel is the second runner-up.
Olga Goryacheva is a mother of three boys and a one-year-old girl. She is a director by profession and currently works in the Bobruisk City Executive Committee. “I found out about the contest from an advertisement on social media and wondered whether I should participate. But my sister said: ‘This is your place, your stage, you should be there, show your family, your city,’” the winner said.
According to the contestant, there were no difficulties during the contest. She thanked finalists of previous years for giving her catwalk lessons and for helping her psychologically. “A huge thank you to my mom, who looked after the kids during the contest. Without her I wouldn’t be here today,” she shared.
Olga had an unusual concept for her creative performance. Her idea was to show photos of the contestants’ sleeping children on the screen behind her while she sang. “The girls came up to me afterwards and said that the performance broke their hearts,” she admitted.
Meanwhile, in her words, it was wonderful to be part of women’s collective. “All the participants are very friendly. I don’t think there was competition. We didn’t feel it,” the winner noted.
Olga Goryacheva spoke about her plans after the victory. “We will continue to develop the project, try to make it even bigger and, perhaps, even go beyond the borders of the country. I wish all families to love each other and their homeland. Then everyone will definitely be happy,” she said.
The participants were congratulated by Olga Shpilevskaya, Chairwoman of the Belarusian Women’s Union. “I bow low to you on behalf of all Belarusian women. You are the ones who hold our land together, who protect national security, because demographics are its main component. You are all winners!” she emphasized after the results were announced.
