MINSK, 23 August (BelTA) – An official opening ceremony of the international defense technology forum Army 2021 and the International Army Games 2021 took place in the military and patriotic recreation park Patriot in the city of Kubinka, Moscow Oblast, Russia on 23 August, BelTA has learned.
A delegation of Belarus' Armed Forces led by Defense Minister, Lieutenant-General Viktor Khrenin is expected to attend the official opening ceremony and participate in the Army 2021 forum.
During the forum the delegation will get familiar with cutting-edge technologies and state-of-the-art samples of weapons and military hardware. The Belarusian defense minister is expected to meet with top managers of PAO Irkut Corporation and observe the Tank Biathlon event in the army exercise area Alabino.
