GRODNO, 9 April (BelTA) – Grodno Oblast Governor Yuri Karayev has met with Živorad Smiljković, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Serbia in Belarus, BelTA learned from the Grodno Oblast Executive Committee.
Yuri Karayev acknowledged Serbia’s role in strengthening interregional ties, economic development, and humanitarian cooperation. He also highlighted the personal contribution of the honorary consul in fostering and expanding business contacts for various joint projects in sectors such as energy, industrial machinery, chemical production, environmental protection, logistics, and the construction of social infrastructure.
The parties also see room for further mutually beneficial humanitarian cooperation in culture, healthcare, sports, and tourism.
