MINSK, 12 January (BelTA) – On 12 January, Belarus’ Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Yevgeny Shestakov visited the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Minsk and left a message in the book of condolences in connection with the numerous victims of the attack against Venezuela carried out on 3 January 2026, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
On behalf of the ministry and himself, the deputy minister expressed sincere condolences to the families and friends of those killed, and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
Yevgeny Shestakov stressed that the Republic of Belarus has been and remains a faithful partner of Venezuela.
The Belarusian diplomat also emphasized that any contradictions must be resolved within the framework of international law and exclusively by peaceful means.
