MINSK, 31 March (BelTA) – Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Belarus Viktor Gulevich met with Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Valery Gerasimov in Moscow, the Defense Ministry told BelTA.
During the talks Viktor Gulevich and Valery Gerasimov discussed topical aspects of Belarusian-Russian military cooperation, including the operation of the Belarusian-Russian regional military force, preparations for the Belarusian-Russian strategic military exercise Zapad 2021, and the joint training of Belarusian and Russian military personnel. In particular, the schedule and peculiarities of operation of joint combat training centers of Belarus and Russia were discussed.
