MINSK, 5 March (BelTA) - Belavia will carry 445 people on evacuation flights today, the airline's press service told BelTA.
“On 5 March, Belavia plans to deliver 445 people to Minsk on evacuation flights. In the morning, flight B2 9322 from Oman (Salalah) landed at National Airport Minsk brining 164 passengers to Belarus,” the press service said.
Another aircraft is heading to Dubai: a wide-body Airbus A330-200 will pick up 281 people from the UAE. The flight is scheduled to depart from the Emirates at 12.50 Belarusian time and land in Minsk around 21.00.
Evacuation flights from Dubai are planned for this week and next week. The airline is also awaiting changes to restrictions in Qatar's airspace in order to organize a evacuation flight from Doha
