MINSK, 1 January (BelTA) – Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ trademark) will become a training base for industrial tourism guides in 2026, the press service of the Belarusian tractor maker told BelTA.
“Together with the Industry Personnel Institute for Advanced Training and Retraining of Industry Managers and Specialists MTZ is about to launch Belarus’ first course for training specialists in the field of industrial tourism. The goal of the project is to facilitate the formation of uniform national standards and to share successful practices with other enterprises,” said Sergei Sidorovich, head of the labor glory museum and industrial center at OAO MTZ.
The five-day course will be intensive and practice-oriented. Lectures by tourism experts have been prepared for the students. The experts will talk about trends and prospects in this field.
Apart from that, the students will go on two field trips: one will take place at MTZ premises while the other one will take the students to another enterprise with experience in conducting tours for various categories of visitors.
