MINSK, 11 July (BelTA) – Around 115,000 foreign nationals have taken advantage of Belarus' visa waiver program, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.
“Since 15 April when Belarus reopened border for visa waiver arrivals, 75,605 citizens of Lithuania, 29,024 citizens and 9,336 aliens of Latvia have visited Belarus. On 1 July Belarus waived visas for Polish citizens who arrive in Belarus through the Belarusian-Polish border. Around 500 Polish citizens visited Belarus over ten days, over 200 during the past weekend alone,” the committee informed.
From 8 to 10 July, 6,517 foreigners entered Belarus: of them 4,180 were citizens of Lithuania, 1,676 citizens and 445 non-citizens of Latvia, and 216 citizens of Poland.
