Belarus to send humanitarian aid to Vietnam

MINSK, 5 November (BelTA) – Belarus will send humanitarian aid to Vietnam. The decision is envisaged in Council of Ministers' Resolution No.630 on 3 November 2021, published on the national legal internet portal on 5 November, BelTA has learned.

The document on providing humanitarian aid to Vietnam was adopted on the basis of the regulation on the procedure to provide international humanitarian aid by the Republic of Belarus.

The healthcare, industry, and emergencies ministries have been instructed to ensure the release and registration of material items for humanitarian aid to Vietnam. The list includes eight items worth over Br850,000, including resuscitation-surgical monitors, portable patient monitors, medical gas supply units, electrically powered medical beds, gurneys and medical overalls.

The document stipulates that the cargo will be delivered by the Emergencies Ministry and the Transport and Communications Ministry. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will assist in the transfer of humanitarian aid to the Vietnamese side.

The decree comes into force on the day of its adoption.
