MINSK, 15 March (BelTA) – A joint staff exercise will take place in Air Force and Air Defense units of the Belarusian army, representatives of the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.
The exercise will focus on planning the deployment of Air Force and Air Defense units during a defensive operation of the regional military force as well as on the joint deployment of Belarusian Air Force and Air Defense units of the Russian Aerospace Forces.
Officers of Belarusian Air Force and Air Defense units and an operations group from the Russian army will take part in the exercise.
The exercise will be overseen by Chief of the Air Force and Air Defense Forces of Belarus, Major-General Igor Golub.
