MINSK, 6 December (BelTA) – During a general rehearsal of the sport and entertainment show Time of Our Victories Xu Rui, the choreography director of the Acrobatic Troupe of China’s Gansu Province, talked to a BelTA reporter about what act the acrobats have brought to Minsk.
The organizers call the Time of Our Victories show partly experimental and (which is important) social. The show will bring together mostly young university students from all over the country. They will demonstrate our culture and sport achievements. A total of about 7,000 guests will spectate the show. The organizers do not rule out the possibility that the project may continue and the large-scale show will be seen by residents of the regions.
“Before coming to Belarus we rehearsed our performance many times. This is why we expect to perform perfectly. During the rehearsal we watched performances of other participants. They are also very professional. And we had something to learn,” said Xu Rui.
The Gansu Province acrobatic troupe has come to Belarus for the first time. According to the choreography director, members of the troupe are most positively impressed by Belarus. “Belarusians are very responsive and friendly people. And Belarus is also very quiet and peaceful,” added Xu Rui.
The guests from the People’s Republic of China brought an act to Minsk, which they have invented only this year. “You can say it’s a new number. We have taken part in other shows, but they were not so massive,” concluded the choreography director.
BelTA reported earlier that the sport and entertainment show Time of Our Victories will feature athletes from Russia’s top gymnastic schools as well as the Acrobatic Troupe of China’s Gansu Province (who will come to Belarus for the first time). They will present the magnificent national identity of Russia and China and will be part of the chapter Time to Be Friends.
