MINSK, 17 April (BelTA) - Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No. 132 “On the Call-Up of Reserve Officers for Military Service" on 17 April, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian head of state.
In 2026, plans are in place to call up male citizens of Belarus under the age of 27 from among reserve officers who have not completed compulsory military service or service in the Armed Forces reserve and who are not entitled to a deferment from conscription. They will be called up to the Armed Forces and border service agencies.
The measures stipulated by this document are carried out by the Armed Forces annually on a planned basis.
The implementation of the decree will improve the manning level of primary officer positions and ensure the training of the mobilization reserve.
