MINSK, 7 July (BelTA) - Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko made new appointments in the Armed Forces, BelTA learned from the press service of the head of state.
Alexander Lukashenko appointed Colonel Viktor Khrenin Chief of Staff – First Deputy Commander of the Western Operational Command of the Armed Forces of Belarus. He was relieved of the post of the Deputy Commander of the Western Operational Command of the Armed Forces.
Colonel Andrei Zhuk was appointed Deputy Commander of the Western Operational Command of the Armed Forces.
Colonel Andrei Burdyko was appointed head of the main planning and service support department – First Deputy Service Support Commander of the Armed Forces.
