MINSK, 23 August (BelTA) - Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated the workers and veterans of state statistical bodies on the Day of Workers of State Statistical Bodies, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“Timely, objective and high-quality information provided by your agency is one of the crucial ingredients of the state administration system. Statistics not only illustrates the economic and social development of the country but also helps find the most promising points of growth for the improvement of living standards,” the message of greetings reads.
According to Aleksandr Lukashenko, for many years Belarusian specialists have been doing their best to preserve the best traditions, accumulate experience and apply cutting-edge technologies. “Their professionalism and expertise are by right appreciated and welcomed by the global statistical community within the framework of integration and international cooperation,” the head of state stressed.
The president expressed confidence that the honesty, reliability, commitment and strong civil position of workers of state statistical bodies will help them cope with all tasks.
