Good wishes, words of interest in tighter cooperation sent to president, people of Belarus

MINSK, 31 August (BelTA) – Wishes of goodness, peace, and prosperity, words to express interest in tighter bilateral cooperation and stronger relations are contained in the incoming messages addressed to the president and the people of Belarus these days. These messages are sent by foreign leaders, politicians and religious figures, heads of integration bodies, representatives of Belarusian diasporas, and people that enjoy fame in various spheres, the press service of the Belarusian leader told BelTA.

Thoughtful and kind messages have been sent by President of Russia Vladimir Putin, China President Xi Jinping, Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev, Armenia President Armen Sarkissian and Armenia Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and the first president of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon, Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Kyrgyzstan President Sadyr Japarov, Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, and Venezuela President Nicolas Maduro.

Vladimir Putin expressed appreciation of the Belarusian leader's efforts to reinforce allied relations between Belarus and Russia and promote mutually beneficial integration processes in the Eurasian space. “Belarusian friends can always count on Russia's support,” he assured. “I have no doubt that together we will continue building up Russian-Belarusian ties in various areas in every possible way.”

Xi Jinping stated that for the last few years Chinese-Belarusian relations have maintained healthy and stable development at a high level. Political mutual trust between Belarus and China grows stronger all the time. Bilateral cooperation in the joint development of the Belt and Road initiative continues deepening while interaction in international affairs becomes tighter. “The concept of China-Belarus friendship that goes from generation to generation is rooted deeply in hearts of the nations. I assign a high priority to the development of Chinese-Belarusian relations. I appreciate your friendship and am ready to work together with you to advance the continuous deepening of Chinese-Belarusian relations of trustful comprehensive strategic partnership and mutually beneficial cooperation,” Xi Jinping noted.

The message sent by Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev reads: “I am convinced that together our interstate relations will continue developing dynamically and expanding in the spirit of strategic partnership and multifaceted interaction in the interests of our brotherly nations.”

Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon thinks highly of the Belarusian head of state's contribution to deeper friendship and cooperation between the countries in the format of strategic partnership. “We are ready to continue advancing our mutually beneficial cooperation across the board through joint efforts,” he stressed.

Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted: “I am convinced that our joint fruitful work will continue contributing to the comprehensive development of Kazakhstan-Belarus cooperation in the bilateral format and within the framework of Eurasian economic integration.”

Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev mentioned the Belarusian head of state's support for reinforcing multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Belarus. “I highly appreciate your friendship based on trust and mutual understanding. I am convinced that the mutual eagerness to advance Uzbekistan-Belarus partnership to an even higher level meets long-term interests of our brotherly nations,” he stressed.

Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill has also sent a message. He expressed gratitude for the good attention paid to the work of the Belarusian Orthodox Church and for support for the church's enlightenment initiatives and social ones. “I hope this collaboration will continue generating good fruits,” the patriarch noted.
