MINSK, 6 December (BelTA) – Belarus expects to see a unified market for gas, oil and petroleum products with Russia as soon as possible, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said at the Union State Supreme State Council meeting in Minsk on 6 December, BelTA has learned.
Aleksandr Lukashenko noted that the development of the Unified Electricity Market Treaty was another significant milestone in the Union State history.
“We expect the earliest possible launch of unified markets for gas, oil and petroleum products in order to ensure an equal and fair economic environment,” the president said.
He added that the work on it is underway.
