Turkey's new ambassador to Belarus presents copies of credentials

MINSK, 23 January (BelTA) – Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Oleg Kravchenko has met with newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Belarus Mustafa Ozcan who handed over copies of his credentials, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“During the meeting the parties exchanged views on a broad range of the bilateral agenda and Belarus-Turkey cooperation in multilateral formats, as well as cooperation prospects in politics, economy and the humanitarian field. They confirmed their commitment to expanding bilateral contacts,” the ministry informed.

Before his appointment as Turkey's ambassador to Belarus, Mustafa Ozcan had worked in the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey for several years. Before that, he had worked in Turkey's diplomatic missions in Azerbaijan, Germany, Ireland and in Turkey's permanent mission to the World Trade Organization.
