First reading for amendments to Belarus' healthcare law on 9 April

MINSK, 8 April (BelTA) – The House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus will consider amendments to the national healthcare law in the first reading on 9 April, BelTA learned from the press service of the House of Representatives.

Amendments to the laws on hydrometeorological and veterinary activity will also be considered in the first reading, the press service added.

“Amendments to the laws on medicines, measures to prevent money laundering, financing of terrorist activities and proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, and also on breeding in the livestock industry are pending second reading,” the House of Representatives said.

The participants of the meeting will consider the ratification of the protocol, which amends the intergovernmental Belarusian-Russian agreement on the formation of prices (tariffs) for the supply of natural gas to Belarus and its transportation by pipelines located in the country.

As BelTA reported earlier, amendments to the healthcare law regulate digitalization of the sector, the opportunity to issue electronic prescriptions, and envisage the accreditation of medical institutions.
