MOSCOW, 26 August (BelTA) – Consultations on a draft agreement on the joint logistical support and medical support of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) collective forces took place in the CSTO Crisis Response Center, BelTA has learned.
The agreement is supposed to regulate the organization of and actual logistical support and medical support of the CSTO forces during combat missions and during exercises. Taking into account the proposals made during the consultations the CSTO Joint Staff and the CSTO Secretariat will amend the draft agreement and will forward it for consideration of the CSTO Permanent Council.
The consultations were arranged as a videoconference. Experts of interested ministries and government agencies of the CSTO member states, representatives of the CSTO Joint Staff, and the CSTO Secretariat took part in the consultations.
