MINSK, 24 March (BelTA) – China is grateful to Belarusians for their good attitude towards Chinese citizens living in their country, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Belarus Cui Qiming told journalists answering a question of a BelTA reporter after a meeting with Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko in Minsk on 24 March.
Students, builders and other workers from China live in Belarus. “They enjoy the kindness of the Belarusian people and do not feel discriminated against,” the head of the diplomatic mission stressed. "This also confirms that China and Belarus have built a truly all-weather friendship,” the ambassador added.
The ambassador highlighted the personal support of the Chinese people by Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko. On his instruction Belarus has twice assembled humanitarian aid to help China fight the coronavirus.
Through joint efforts we will overcome temporary difficulties and move forward confidently in the development of bilateral relations, Ambassador Cui Qiming is convinced.
