Belarusian ambassador awarded Mongolia's highest award for foreign nationals

MINSK, 24 June (BelTA) – Belarusian Ambassador to Mongolia Stanislav Chepurnoy was awarded the Order of the Polar Star, Mongolia's highest state award for foreign nationals, BelTA learned from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.

The Belarusian diplomat received the order for “services to bilateral relations between Mongolia and Belarus”. The award was presented by Baigalmaa Gochoosure, the deputy head of the Mongolia President Administration, the first chairperson of the Mongolian part of the Belarus-Mongolia join commission for trade and economic cooperation.

Ambassador Stanislav Chepurnoy is completing his diplomatic mission in Mongolia. As it has been reported, on 18 June Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko appointed a new ambassador to Mongolia. Dmitry Gorelik, the head of the General Directorate of International Cooperation and Trade at the Council of Ministers Office, will take charge of the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Mongolia.
