Belarus' PM: EAEU member states find solutions to key integration issues

CHOLPON ATA, 20 August (BelTA) – The governments of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member states find solutions to key integration issues, Belarus' Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko said at the meeting of Kyrgyzstan President Sadyr Japarov with the heads of government delegations of the EAEU member states, BelTA has learned.

“The priority for us is the implementation of strategic areas of Eurasian integration. All kinds of issues are under discussion now, some are easier, others are more difficult. Yet, the main thing is that the parties are determined to find common ground,” Roman Golovchenko said.

He noted that the 19 August narrow-format meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council was brief and intensive. “This suggests a higher level of expert work, better preparation; we are able to meet each other halfway. I am sure that we will have an opportunity to discuss a greater number of important issues that concern all parties in a broader format today,” the prime minister said.
