Belarus, Brazil discuss strengthening political dialogue, economic cooperation

MINSK, 6 March (BelTA) – The development of political dialogue and trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Brazil was discussed at a meeting in Moscow on 6 March between Belarusian Minister-Counselor Darya Shmanai and Minister-Counselor Mauricio Toba of the Embassy of the Federative Republic of Brazil in Russia, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian diplomatic mission. 

“The parties noted with satisfaction the friendly relations between Belarus and Brazil. During the meeting, they touched upon issues of developing political dialogue, trade and economic cooperation. Darya Shmanai expressed gratitude to her counterpart for Brazil’s support of our country within BRICS,” the press service said. 
The deputy heads of the diplomatic missions also addressed matters concerning Belarus’ participation in a number of regional integration associations and exchanged views on several issues on the international agenda.
