Belarus, Bangladesh mull over ministerial consultations

MINSK, 16 March (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to India with concurrent accreditation to Bangladesh Andrei Rzheussky met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh Shabbib Ahmed Chowdhury in Dhaka on 16 March, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties discussed a wide range of issues related to the Belarus-Bangladesh cooperation in politics, trade, economy, science and technology, education, and culture, and analyzed the bilateral legal framework. The parties also exchanged opinions on the prospects to hold consultations between the ministries of foreign affairs of Belarus and Bangladesh in 2021-early 2022.

Close attention was paid to the cooperation between the two countries in international organizations.
