MINSK, 27 October (BelTA) – A Turkish parliamentary delegation led by Selman Eser, Head of the Türkiye-Belarus friendship interparliamentary group of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, has visited the Belarusian tractor manufacturer Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ), BelTA has learned.
The exhibition site featured products not only from MTZ Holding Company but also from other Belarusian industrial enterprises: Gomselmash, BobruiskAgroMash, and Lidselmash. The guests were shown a wide model range of BELARUS machinery – a line of tractors, mini-tractors, lawn mowers, and two-wheel tractors of various capacities. The visitors learned about the advantages of the presented models, their localization level, and areas of application.
The delegation also toured the MTZ museum. The exhibition consists of two parts: the indoor area displays documents related to the enterprise’s history, while the open-air site features vintage machinery. Furthermore, the guests visited the tractor assembly shop. Both sides expressed interest in enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation.
The Minsk Tractor Works is a leading global manufacturer of agricultural machinery. With a history of almost 80 years, the plant has produced over 4 million tractors, currently sold under the BELARUS brand.
