MINSK, 11 September (BelTA) – Belarus and Niger plan to expand agricultural cooperation. This was discussed during a meeting between Niger’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Russia and Belarus (non‑resident) Issa Abdou Sidikou and Director of Belarus’ National Center for Marketing and Price Study Nikolai Borisevich held at the center, BelTA has learned.
The meeting focused on strengthening trade and economic ties, particularly in agriculture. The ambassador expressed interest in purchasing Belarusian agricultural machinery, as well as in studying Belarus’ experience in modernizing its agricultural sector.
The National Center for Marketing and Price Study will continue working to strengthen partnerships with African countries, opening up new opportunities for Belarusian producers.
