MINSK, 29 October (BelTA) – The state program on small and medium entrepreneurship for 2021-2025 has been corrected by the Council of Ministers’ resolution No.581 of 28 October 2025. The document has been published by the website of the national legislation registry, BelTA has learned.
The Council of Ministers’ resolution No.56 of 29 January 2021 has been amended. According to the document, the planned volume of money to finance events and projects of the program in 2025 has been increased by approximately Br2 billion. It will be achieved thanks to credit resources. The total sum will exceed Br11.6 billion, up from over Br9.6 billion previously.
The state program on small and medium entrepreneurship is designed to create an environment conducive to the development of private enterprises. The goal is to stimulate business activity, support startups, and create innovative organizations. Among other things the program provides for setting up the institute of an ombudsman, for improving the taxation legislation, and for providing other kinds of support, including the financial kind: loans, leasing, or grants available via competitive selection.
