MINSK, 5 April (BelTA) – Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ) plans to open a logistics center by the end of 2026, MTZ Director General Taras Murog said during the Client Day of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Belarus, BelTA learned from the MTZ press service.
“This year, our task is to equip a large logistics complex on the company’s premises. All spare parts entering the center, both our own and those from suppliers, will bear original factory markings in the form of barcodes. This will address challenges related to automating order processing. We plan to complete this by the end of 2026,” emphasized Taras Murog.
The head of MTZ noted that the enterprise is already implementing a laser marking system for its products. Currently, the original factory number is being applied to a range of parts intended for BELARUS energy-rich tractors. After the logistics center opens, this marking will appear on all spare parts. Additional anti-counterfeiting measures will also be introduced if necessary.
