MINSK, 10 June (BelTA) – Belarus-Iraq cooperation in the agricultural industry was discussed at the meeting between Belarus' Agriculture and Food Minister Igor Brylo and Iraqi Minister of Agriculture Mohammad Karim Al-Khafaji, BelTA learned from the Agriculture and Food Ministry.
“The two ministers discussed Belarus-Iraq cooperation prospects in the field of agriculture, including crop production, animal husbandry, agricultural machinery and equipment, and veterinary medicine. The Iraqi side pointed to the highest level of food security in our country and expressed interest in expanding cooperation with Belarus,” the ministry said.
Mohammad Karim Al-Khafaji left an entry in the book of honored guests of the ministry.
