MINSK, 8 September (BelTA) – Belarus and India should more intensively develop cooperation in both trade and technology, Professor of the School of International Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi, Rajan Kumar said on the air of the STV TV channel, BelTA reports.
The Indian expert attributed the strong bilateral cooperation to historical Soviet-era ties and the respect held for the Belarusian leader.
“We traditionally had good relations during the Soviet Union, with robust parliamentary exchanges. Aleksandr Lukashenko is respected in India, and Belarus’ membership in the SCO and other Eurasian organizations is viewed very positively in India,” Rajan Kumar said.
